The mission of 4833 is to cultivate and foster the creative community of Chicago. This starts with HPAC’s own teaching artists, exhibiting artists, and students, and extends outward into the city. Education and Exhibition programs at HPAC will come together in this space and other components, including our Artist Residency and Outreach programs, will tap into the resources of 4833. The space will serve as a multi-purpose community and cultural nexus that leverages the resources of community-based organizations and builds on our history of effective collaborations with other cultural institutions in order to facilitate creative interactions between students, artists, educators, families, youth, and diverse community members from across the city.
